Behavioural consultation

live

Has your dog started behaving strangely lately?

Or maybe you are worried about his persistent fearfulness or aggression?

Make an appointment for a consultation with a home visit in Warsaw and the surrounding area (check the exact area where I work).

During our meeting, lasting approximately 2-3 hours, we will take a closer look at the problem and your relationship, look for possible causes of a given behaviour and develop a therapy plan. Then, you will receive a report summarizing my observations and a detailed therapy plan with specific step-by-step instructions.

Are you wondering if this type of consultation is designed for you?

Live behavioural consultation is the most comprehensive help option that you can choose. Thanks to a thorough interview and live observation, I am able to get to know you and your dog best, address a wide range of problem behaviours, take care of their prevention, and help you understand your pet's emotions, needs and character.

If you can't name the problem you're struggling with, don't worry- it's my job, after all ;-) Just let me know, in your own words, what worries you or what you would like to know. Often, you are struggling with several problems at the same time, or the behaviour you see is the result of the dog's emotions hidden deep under the surface, and only during therapeutic work will we actually get to the root of it and be able to classify it somehow.

So, in what situations is it worth choosing a live behavioural consultation?

  • when your dog is anxious and afraid of various sounds, objects, and situations;

  • when your dog is aggressive towards other dogs and animals;

  • when your dog is aggressive towards strangers or your household members;

  • when your dog pulls on the leash during a walk or eats garbage and/or inedible objects, like stones or dirt;

  • when your dog destroys furniture or urinates/defecates in the house;

  • when you plan to neuter your dog and want to be sure that your dog is behaviorally ready for it and, after the procedure, (s)he won't become more aggressive or anxious;

  • when you are planning to move and want to be sure that your dog will find his/her way quickly in a new place,

  • when you are getting ready to expand your family - e.g. planning the birth of a child, the arrival of a new household member, both a human and another animal, and you want to be sure that your dog will experience such changes with as little stress as possible;

  • when your dog has recently lost his long-time companion or guardian and is grieving;

  • when you have recently adopted your dog, and you are just getting to know each other;

  • when your dog does not get along with another animal in your home herd (dog or cat);

  • when your dog suddenly lost the desire to play, became withdrawn, lethargic, depressed;

  • when your dog behaves aggressively when you approach him while he is eating or sleeping (you suspect the so-called resource defence);

  • when your dog cries, barks, destroys, or eliminates at home while you are away - check out the therapy for separation disorders here, which, due to its specific nature, is always ultimately conducted online;

  • ... and in any other situation where you feel the need to consult a professional and want to better understand your dog's behaviour and emotions ;-)
