About me

I have a master's degree in psychology (SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, 2016), and I'm a certified behaviorist-zoopsychologist for dogs and cats and a certified dog trainer, as well as the first CSAT in Poland, i.e. a Certified Separation Anxiety Therapist working based on the Malena DeMartini protocol.

I completed a zoopsychologist-behaviourist course at EthoPlanet (2019) and a two-year behaviourist course at Wojtkow Training (2022). I constantly expand my knowledge and competencies by regularly participating in numerous classes, conferences and trainings. I took part in, among others, a pet first aid course or courses on pet nutrition. In 2020, I also completed the Dog Trainer Course at Wojtkow Training, and in 2023, I successfully completed a 14-week certification program with Malena DeMartini, Maia Huff-Owen and Tiffany Lovell, officially joining the elite group of CSATs, currently numbering about 280 specialists around the world.

I focus only on positive methods without any aversive solutions. What is crucial for me is the animal's emotions and work based on a close, partnership-based relationship and dialogue between pets and their guardians.

I have volunteered at the Animal Shelter in Korabiewice and have been involved in many other pro-animal foundations and organizations working for nature and environmental causes.

I had the pleasure of teaching future trainers and behaviourists during classes for the Tell Me Hau Dog Trainer Course in Poland, as well as preparing webinars about dog communication for the Dog Dialogue Zone (Strefa Dialogu z psem) project.

My private animal pack currently consists of three adoptees - two female cats- Majorka and Minorka, and a female dog - Felka, as well as a retired gelding horse named Czarkus. But in fact, I treat each of my clients a bit like another member of my family.

Moje kompetencje

My education

Animal behaviourism is a fascinating field of knowledge that is developing very quickly and intensively. Scientific research dating back even just 10 or 15 years would be treated as a new one in many other fields, but in the context of animal psychology and behaviour, they are often considered outdated because we now know so much more today than we did then. For this reason, and also because of my general passion for learning, I believe that it is crucial in this work to constantly deepen my knowledge to take even better care of the needs and emotions of my patients and to help you, their caregivers, more effectively.

Additionally, animal psychology is related to many other related fields of science. We look at animals as a whole because their behaviour is often influenced not only by their psyche but also by their physical health and diet... and only a holistic approach allows us to really improve the animal's life. Therefore, I highly value cooperation with other specialists in diagnosing and treating animals, and I also try to expand my knowledge by participating in training in these areas.
